Maaco West Springfield, owned by longtime entrepreneur Joe Houghton, has earned recognition from the Springfield, MA, Regional Chamber as a 2024 Super 60 winner in the Growth category. This accolade recognizes the shop’s consistent revenue growth over a three-year period, solidifying its status as a vital part of the West Springfield community.
The Springfield Regional Chamber has celebrated the success of 60 local businesses annually for more than 35 years. The Growth category honors businesses that have demonstrated sustained revenue increases, a feat Maaco West Springfield achieved through its commitment to excellence in collision repair, paintwork, and insurance claim services.

Houghton brings decades of leadership experience to his business, including 21 years of service in the U.S. Army National Guard, where he achieved the rank of captain. These include hosting coat drives for military families, refurbishing vehicles for veterans, and collaborating with local organizations to help veterans transition into civilian careers.
Houghton attributes the shop’s success to a team effort, specifically highlighting the contributions of shop managers Ashley Lewis and Chris Theriaque. Together, they have fostered a customer-first approach, creating a welcoming environment where both customers and employees thrive.
