Polyvance announced the immediate price reduction of its two paid online training courses. The PR-03 Headlight Repair Course is now $29 and the EPR-01 Estimating Plastic Repair Course is now $49. Polyvance hopes the reduction in price will allow more people to gain valuable knowledge about plastic repair.

The PR-03 Headlight Repair Course demonstrates the repair of broken headlight tabs using the nitrogen plastic welding system. The course teaches the student how to distinguish between repairable and unrepairable damage, how to identify the plastic, and how to repair different types of broken tabs.

The course is approximately an hour long and demonstrates eight unique repairs. Students who successfully complete this course are eligible to receive one I-CAR annual training credit at no extra cost to the student.

The EPR-01 Estimating Plastic Repair course is designed to educate estimators on assessing the repairability of the numerous plastic components found on today’s vehicles. The course takes the estimator through a brief history of plastics, identification of different types of plastics, and the three main types of plastic repair techniques used in the industry. The course concludes with a series of exercises designed to improve the skills of the estimator, allowing them to estimate plastic repair more accurately.

The course is divided into four modules and takes around two hours to complete. Students who successfully complete this course are eligible to receive two I-CAR annual training credits at no extra cost to the student.

The PR-03 and EPR-01 are available on Polyvance’s LMS, alongside the company’s two free Polyvance University training courses. More information on all Polyvance’s online courses can be found at polyvance.tortal.net or by emailing training@polyvance.com.
