SPEEDtubeTV has officially rebranded as POWERtube TV Network, in preparation for its move into the FAST (Free Ad Supported Television) and VOD (Video On Demand) TV market. The move is intended to distinguish the popular automotive television content destination from other OTT networks using “Speed” in their title.
“The fans have spoken; they’ve already consumed 1 million watch hours in just a few short months on YouTube," said Brian Bossone, CEO of Boss One Media LLC. "Creating our own streaming network gives viewers more options to watch and more control of our content distribution. Additionally, the change corrects a misinterpretation that our network would only air classic Speed Channel shows. We simply don’t want this to overshadow our new creator partners’ content.”
Coming this June, POWERtube TV will air all of its content on its web-based FAST network. Immediately following launch, the network will expand onto multiple platforms such as ROKU, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV and more. Enthusiasts will be able to access some of the best automotive, motorcycle and powersports racing and build shows at one location.
Fan-favorites PINKS “Lose the Race, Lose your Ride”, PASS TIME, PINKS ALL OUT, PINKS ALL OUT OUTTAKES and Drag Race High will only be a small part of the network expansion. Upcoming shows like Webb’s Offroad Garage, BURNOUT, Gearheads, Dream Garages, Cars & Coffee Exposed, Nichols Paint & Fab and tons more new programming will be airing every month.
“With the name change comes an all-new format to access our programming,” said Ray Iddings, head of development at Boss One Media, POWERtube TV’s parent company. “Along with POWERtube TVs main FAST channel, we are going to be offering each show its own individual channel directly on the website. Plus, we are now working with 23 new content creators for new programming that will appeal to every type of auto enthusiast.”
New programming on POWERtube TV includes but is not limited to:
Drift America: Famed drifter Scott Umbreit explores the drifting lifestyle both on and off the track, giving viewers a unique inside look at the sideways racing way of life.
Webb’s Offroad Garage: Watch as offroad builder Chris Webb builds amazing 4WD vehicles in his home garage and then sees them head off for rugged 4x4 adventures.
Nichols Paint & Fab: This new series follows Justin Nichols and his crew during their wild custom builds and crazy antics at their new shop in Illinois. You may recognize these guys from their show on MotorTrend, Wrench’d. If you liked that show you’re gonna love this one.
Cars & Coffee Exposed: Show host Chelsea Allen visits some of the top Cars & Coffee events around the country. Chelsea meets the owners and highlights some of the coolest classic and modern supercars in the nation.
Racin’ With Mason: Comedian Mason Dixon drives wacky race cars and competes in hijinks on the track while providing hilarious commentary.
GRIP: The Grip Autocross race series will air in 2023 with all the classes and all the coverage.
All programming on POWERtube TV is free of charge. New episodes of their popular automotive programming are added weekly and new shows are added and updated on a consistent basis. For more information, visit watchpowertubetv.com.
