Joe Hudson’s Collision Center recently reached a milestone with the acquisition of Cliff’s Hi-Tech Body Shop in Essex, MD, marking the MSO’s 250th location.
The acquisition was accompanied by the opening of two new greenfield locations in Georgia. The stores, in Columbus and Pooler, are Joe Hudson’s 15th and 16th locations in the state.
“Reaching 250 locations is a tremendous achievement, one that underscores the strength of our team and the effectiveness of our strategic growth initiatives,” said Brant Wilson, CEO of Joe Hudson’s Collision Center. “We exceeded our growth goals for 2024, thanks in part to our targeted acquisitions and expansion into high-demand markets.”
The acquisition of Cliff’s Hi-Tech Body Shop in Essex is a particularly noteworthy addition to Joe Hudson’s portfolio. Operating in the Baltimore area for nearly four decades, the shop has earned a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship and customer service.
“This facility has been a cornerstone of quality collision repair in the Baltimore area, and it’s clear that their team shares our passion for customer service and craftsmanship,” said Cameron Dickson, COO of Joe Hudson’s.
“Integrating the talented team from Essex is a top priority, and we are committed to making this transition as seamless as possible as we welcome them into the JHCC family,” said Wendy Patrick, chief administrative officer of Joe Hudson’s. “At the same time, we are focused on staffing our new greenfield locations in Columbus and Pooler, recruiting local talent to meet the increasing demand for high-quality collision repair services.”
Looking ahead, Joe Hudson’s plans to accelerate its expansion efforts into 2025 by identifying and acquiring high-value locations that strengthen its market position and customer service capabilities.
Joe Hudson’s Collision Center, headquartered in Montgomery, AL, was founded in 1989. It is largely concentrated in the Southeastern U.S. After acquiring a total of 38 shops in 2023, Joe Hudson’s picked up the pace in 2024. In April, it acquired its 200th location as part of a wave of seven acquisitions in four states, including its first in Missouri. As of today, it operates more than 250 locations.
