PGW Auto Glass, a leading distributor in North America's vehicle replacement glass and shop accessories market, expanded its operational footprint with the opening of two new distribution centers in Phoenix, AZ, and Scranton, PA.
The newly inaugurated centers in Scranton, encompassing 130,000 square feet, and Phoenix, covering 138,000 square feet, are strategically located to optimize inventory availability and enhance service proximity to vital customer bases in these regions.
“The additional distribution centers allow PGW Auto Glass to increase and retain customer satisfaction by offering an array of auto glass inventory with a quicker response time,” explained Bob Jackson, vice president of distribution. Jackson also highlighted the initiative's cost-saving potential due to reduced transportation expenses.
Employing 22 new associates across these facilities, PGW Auto Glass is poised to ship 850,000 pieces annually. These centers will house and distribute a wide range of products, including windshields, side glass, back glass, sunroofs and ancillary sundry items such as tools, urethane and gloves.
