PPG Announces Leadership Changes for 2025

These changes position experienced leaders in roles across the company's automotive, packaging and traffic solutions divisions.

PPG announced a series of leadership transitions aimed at advancing its growth strategy and bolstering key business segments. These changes, effective between December 2024 and January 2025, position experienced leaders in roles across the company's automotive, packaging and traffic solutions divisions.

Tom Maziarz, currently vice president of automotive refinish for the Americas, will become vice president of traffic solutions on Dec. 1. He will report to Amy Ericson, senior vice president of protective and marine coatings. Maziarz replaces Ed Baiden, who is leaving PPG to pursue opportunities outside the company.

Maziarz has been with PPG since 1993 and has held various leadership roles, including his current position since 2020, overseeing the collision business in the U.S. and Canada.

Effective Jan. 1, 2025, Rodolfo Ramirez will assume the role of vice president, automotive refinish, Americas. Ramirez, currently vice president of packaging coatings, brings more than 20 years of experience at PPG, including roles in automotive OEM, industrial coatings and global business development. He will report to Chancey Hagerty, senior vice president of automotive refinish.

Denise Lu, currently general manager of industrial coatings for the Asia Pacific region, will take over as vice president of packaging coatings on Jan. 1, 2025. Lu’s extensive tenure at PPG includes leadership positions in strategic planning, marketing, and acquisition integrations. She will report to Alisha Bellezza, senior vice president of automotive coatings. Leadership for Lu’s current role will be announced separately.
