VinFast has officially expanded its footprint in the U.S. by signing agreements with five independent dealers across four different states, bringing its cutting-edge EVs closer to American consumers.
The inaugural group of VinFast dealers includes Leith VinFast in Raleigh, NC; Smith Haven VinFast in St. James, NY; Principle VinFast Grapevine in Grapevine, TX; Hiley VinFast of Fort Worth, TX; and VinFast Wichita in Wichita, KS. These dealers will initially offer the VinFast VF 8 all-electric SUV, followed by additional models like the VF 6, VF 7 and VF 9 as they launch in the U.S.
This expansion also includes attractive aftersales policies. Customers purchasing or leasing VinFast EVs will benefit from a comprehensive 10-year/125,000-mile warranty for the vehicle and a 10-year unlimited mileage warranty for the battery under non-commercial use.
"This is an important step affirming VinFast's commitment to expanding its retail sales network and shortening the time to deliver our products to market," said Tran Mai Hoa, deputy CEO of sales and marketing at VinFast Global.
The collaboration with dealers is a strategic move for VinFast to quickly introduce U.S. customers to high-quality EVs, competitive pricing and exceptional aftersales policies.
Danny Williams, COO of Leith Automotive Group, shared his excitement about being among the first VinFast dealers in the U.S. and the first in North Carolina. He praised VinFast's commitment to innovation and quality, seeing it as an ideal addition to the Leith Automotive Group.
Looking ahead, VinFast plans to expand its dealer network to 125 points of sale across the U.S. This expansion complements the company's existing 13 retail stores and service centers in California, solidifying VinFast's presence in the American EV market.
